Mathematics

The Maths sessions are lead by Georgeta, senior teacher with 15 years of experience, with a vast expertise in mathematics and pedagogical approach. She is covering the entire National Curriculum for Mathematics KS2-KS5. Her lessons are engaging and she has the ability to make every pupil to enjoy maths, to feel successful and confident, to transform them into problem solvers and analytical thinkers.

Georgeta is very passionate about the subject of maths, and about choosing the right approach (method) of delivering mathematical concepts in the way that suits every child comprehension.

She is the author of “Let’s talk Algebra”a compendium of mathematical concepts and questions. The book aiming to be an additional support for students and teachers who want to expand their subject knowledge and to improve their Algebra skills.

English

Ioana is the leader of the English sessions, she has an academic approach of the phonics, literature analysis and grammar. Her students are enjoying the comprehensive lessons that she has designed for them using modern pedagogical approach that suits every student regardless.

Ioana is working with KS2 students, preparing them for SATS exams and for 11+ exams; and with KS3-KS4 students to improve their GCSE – English Exams outcome.

Science

Isla is our science tutor, she is very passionate by the subject and keen to help every pupil to achieve their academic success.
