Tuition Terms and Conditions – Geeky George Tutoring

Date and time of tuition sessions – The number of the sessions and the specific time/slot during the week and the price (hourly/pack) has been agreed with the parents/carers of pupil at the start of the sessions; additional hours or alternative times may be available during holiday periods, providing a space if available.

An Invoice will be issued to every client on the 1st of the month. All payments must be made by the 5th of every month.

If no payment has been made ahead of the date and time of the scheduled session, no tuition will take place.

In case of Unarranged Absences or Arranged Absences a recover session will be offered in the space of the available slots. If not possible then the following Invoice will be amended accordingly.

Unarranged Absences (such as sickness, family emergencies) – Notice to up to 6 hours before the session/ no fees to be charged.

Arranged Absences (such as holiday, known in advance appointments or other activities) – Notice to be given 1 week before the session/ no fees to be charged.

Tutor holidays and bank holidays – Christmas Holiday – the same with the Coventry Local Authority. – Easter Holiday* – the same with the Coventry Local Authority. – Summer Holiday* – the same with the Coventry Local Authority

*If holiday sessions will be offered, these will be announced in advance through the communication details offered by the parents and social media channels.

Tutor sickness – In the case of the tutor sickness, a cover tutor will run the sessions, no changes in the students’ routine or into the planned lesson – Learning Plan.

In case of the discontinuity of the tutoring services, the notice period required is two weeks by either party, except for year 13 students at the end of their exams.
